Yuletide festival and the 12 days of wizard!

Hey all, Christopher Dragonfriend here, with 2 important things to say.

Firstly, Felix Navidad has returned (with a new pet, not a vengeance). The old pets and gear have returned as well, but that's not as EPIC AWESOME as the new Yuletide spirit pet available for just 3,000 crowns!

Happy Thanksgiving! (1 day late) and Zafaria (a number of days late)

Halloweenfest part 2

Part 1

Hey all,

As mentioned in Part 1, Halloween is in the spiral.

Pretty much everything but the 3 new pets is the same.

Oh, but there is one thing I can think of...

Pumpkin head now drops White Laugh-O-Dils.

So probably, the others (Baron Mordecai, The Reaper, Hallowe'en Trickster) are able to drop plants, though I am not certain.

I will make a video of a fight against pumpkin head just 'cause I can (and for you people).

I can't think of anything else, so...

Issues in the spiral... and etc. (I'm not dead... yet.)

 My sincerest apologies, fellow wizards, but it comes to my attention that I haven't been doing everything I can with this blog and my YouTube channel.  I can (hopefully) say that this will change somewhere in the near future, particularly in October, because I'm still playing Wizard101, and I will be most active in the spiral then, as I have made a particularly long checklist of things to do before Halloween ends in the spiral.


However, there are issues preventing me from doing what I can. I am a student at a school outside of the spiral,  as well as at the Ravenwood School of Magical Arts.  I do have homework from both (though homework from the spiral is usually significantly easier).


In the future, I plan to update this blog more frequently, upload videos to my YouTube channel whenever I get the opportunity, and complete my checklist.  All this will hopefully occur when October comes (even though October 11th is my birthday).

Level 60 Plus Laziness

Hey everyone!
I haven't been posting much on my blog (partially due to laziness; hence title).
Yesterday Christopher Dragonfriend, my Myth wiz, Made Legendary.

On another note, there have been many epic new updates (Wintertusk, waterworks, Crab alley's return), plus The new gamestop $39 giftcard. I will be going over those in the next few posts.

New amulets... WOOT

Recently, test realm opened for a few days to test out some new amulets, which allow you to use Power pips for other school spells.

Lets take wolf frogblood, my balance wizard, for an example. If he had one power pip and one normal pip, normally he couldn't cast storm shark. but, with this amulet:




He could cast storm shark.

Here are the new amulets:

Reminder:
Wolf cannot purchase an amulet of sorcery. Likewise, you cannot buy amulets that correspond to your main school, AND the amulet you purchase will only work for one secondary school (in wolf's case, Storm.)

April fools Day pet

Hi people! Today is april 2nd (april fools, it's really april 1st). I just read on Wizard101 central that a new pet has come to the spiral! It's a rock!

SO THATS WHAT THE COUNTDOWN WAS FOR!

Your Pet Rock So, by now you most likely have a pet rock. If not, this pet can be found in the Crown Shop. So if you have a pet rock we can move on. In this manual we will go over the training and care taking of your rock so lets begin........ Training I recommend starting to train your pet rock at a very young age, this will make your pet more powerful. Beyond training your pet in the Pet Pavilion, rocks are such intelligent beings that they are born knowing tricks. Here I will mention what your pet can do.... Sit - Your pet will sit all on its own, you don't have to teach it to sit. Stay - Your pet rock will always stay at your side. Run - When you run, your pet will run beside you. Simple care We will now go over simple care for your rock. Bathing Run your pet rock through the Wizard City Pond occasionally, and higher level Wizards can swim with it in Celestia. This will keep the pet rock clean. Feeding The pet rock is a very easy pet to take care of, just feed it after every pet mini-game in the Pet Pavilion to make sure it has enough nutrients to stay healthy. Walking Your pet rock will get lots of exercise following beside you as you explore the Spiral! If you are on a mount, don't worry your pet rock is safely tucked inside your backpack. If you don't feel your pet rock is getting enough exercise, you can always place it in your house. Dueling Your pet rock comes with a very powerful card, and it will be happy to assist you in duels! Sleep For your pet rock I do recommend sleep. Your pet rock will sleep when you are offline. Health Note: if you want him to go get a checkup at the doctor, dont be worried when they say theres no heart beat. Dr. Purreau will be very happy to give your adult pet rock a clean bill of health for hatching purposes! Keep your pet rock happy and healthy, and it will be your best friend!
